How to get there

• Pass the Agip patrol station on your right following Tomb of the Kings Road west bound
• Melania restaurant will be on your right hand side
• Turn into Evaggelou Floraki road right off main road

• Tarmac road about 200m up the hill, on your right green belt

Their wine list has been prepared by Wines of the world in Paphos and has something for every palate and every pocket.

The chiefs pay attention to detail of every dish, perfectly balanced tastes and textures coupled with presentation to die for. A 3 course Sunday lunch is served every week between 12.00 and 15.00 and again the theme follows through with only the highest quality Beef, Pork and Lamb roasted and served with fresh local vegetables.

The main bathroom features a spacious glass-tiled shower with a window facing the sea, a wash basin and a toilet. It has plenty of shelf space for your toiletry items and to hang hand and shower towels, or to dry your swim costumes.

The guest bathroom has a toilet and a wash basin, and can also double up as a storage area for sports equipment such as rented bicycle or anything else you want to keep out of your way.

Shower tip: You can also get relief from migraines by taking a hot shower. Whilst in the shower put your head, or at least the back of your neck, under the running water. This helps to expand the blood vessels that are constricting and let more blood flow.

Imagine ripping through peachy flat water hearing the gurgle of your board, the silence as you launch yourself skyward of the lip of a small but well formed wave – all great fun and is just the beginning of a great week or two in Cyprus.

In Paphos, the kite surfers meet at the little bay opposite Secret Valley. From the Eden Apartment, simply follow the Thumb of the Kings road to the end, turn left through a couple of roundabouts until you reach the main high way and then drive out of town about 20km until you come to the Kouklia exit. From the old coastal road, follow down the tracks until you reach the bay and enjoy westerly winds throughout most of the year.

Another kite surfing beach is located off the little village called Pissouri which is a further 15km on the highway east bound.

We missed out on Old Town Restaurant Polis for years thinking it to be a small and difficult to park place, take our advice drive around the back and enter an excellent foodie and ambiance experience. Seated in their back garden dinning area a truly memorable experience. Jon & Valerie Baxter
